Day 5 : Ichigo Farm. Buta. Dog Cafe
the whole area was filled with strawberry farms! at least 20 or so.. had to drive for abt 45 mins to get there . But it was oh so worth it :)
We could pick as many stawberries as we could eat.. had a condense milk dip to go along with it too! Yilin, you'll love this place!
Buta Farm = Pig Farm
We bought some fresh pork for Katsu don (japanese home cooked food is absolutely delicious)! Didnt get to see the pigs though..
not allowed to cos we'd frighten them..
and guess what i found! heh.
Almost everyday, the couple would take their dog, Julia, to this dog cafe..
theres a membership of 1500 dogs!
Julia has got to be the most well behaved dog ive seen..Havent even heard her bark once and shes amazingly smart.. :)
Day 6: Swimming and Hina doll festival
went swimming at a fitness club today.. indoor pool.. they had nice warm water and jacuzzi facilities too! finally got some exercise for the ramen, karaage and katsu dons! heh.
Japan has a tremendous number of festivals.. Today being the Hina Dolls festival which is in fact a day for all unmarried girls.. We had the special chirashi sushi for dinner comprising of sushi rice.. wintermelon, mushrooms, egg, prawns, crabmeat, ginger, seaweed etc..
Which explains my earlier claim on japanese food :)
