Day 2: Edo Tokyo Museum
the shogun was transported in this sedan in the edo period! with me is the wife of the couple im staying with.. i call her Aunty Okaasan (Mummy) :) shes got more energy than me!
behind us is a set up of the kabukiza (theatre)
wanted to catch a live show or even sumo wrestling! but its their resting period now..

senso ji (in asakusa).. it's one of the most famous temples in tokyo..
p.s. my first attempt at the kawaii pose.not perfected yet.
light but satisfying meal at asakusa: rice cake (like mochi) with red bean and glass noodles ..
Day 3 & 4: Takasaki
my room! small but adequate. computer, bed, cupboards.

Couple whom im staying with now.. tremendously hospitable!
that night of day 4 we had vege udon and karaage! fried chicken which was crispy and juicy!! so much better than the ones we eat in singapore..
Day 5: Flower arrangement and Glass blowing
my first try at flower arrangement!
the little one on the right was done by me (with help of course :) )
glass blowing was an enjoyable experience! much more difficult than i thought.. get to keep the cup i made too!
this shop is famous for its silk dolls and decor..amazing stuff inside..
